It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that GVH member, Brian Dodge, died Saturday night, 1/28/12. Brian suffered a massive stroke at home, was taken by ambulance to Oswego Hospital with his wife Carol, but never regained consciousness.
Brian was a wonderfully caring and giving person who was a fierce competitor and key member of our GVH Veterans team for many years. Recently retired as an educator he and his wife Carol were always active members in the running community. Always smiling and positive people they regularly traveled together to many USATF National Championship races. Brian had an outstanding running year in 2011 and was a big contributor to the GVH Vets winning the USATF National Masters Grand Prix Series Championship title. Indeed Brian will be missed immensely and our thoughts and prayers are extended to his wife Carol and their extended family and friends.
