Why GVH: GVH has helped aspire me to continue to drive myself to a higher level. GVH has also allowed me to network and access new avenues of running (races, people, experiences), and GVH also does a good job and finding competitive races to help guide the growth of their athletes.

  • I am still evolving as a competitive athlete.   I never ran in high school or college–and picked it up in 2013 as a social hobby.  It has since become competitive and I continue to learn over time–and love it.

Why GVH After playing Division I Soccer, I missed team camaraderie and competition and my new love became running. GVH allows me to be part of a team again!

Favorite Place to Run:
I usually run around my town but I prefer someplace more scenic. I loved running along the bay in San Francisco, along the Niagara River and down to the falls in Niagara Falls, and around the lake in Lake Placid, etc.

Why GVH:
GVH provides great support to post collegiate runners and has a friendly team atmosphere. I was particularly drawn to competing on the Masters team

  • 5 time winner of Johnny’s Runnin’ of the Green…my favorite local race.
  • Running the New Haven 20K in the pouring rain from start to finish in 1:15.


  • Placing 11th at the USATF Cross Country Club Championships in 22:58

 My college coach recommended the team and I’ve really enjoyed meeting people outside college who share my enthusiasm for running.
